This change marks the next chapter of our journey and better reflects who we are today, how we work, and the businesses we support.

We began with a simple goal: to do recruitment properly.

In the early days, we worked across a broad SME landscape, supporting growing businesses with honest advice, practical solutions, and a very hands-on approach. We built everything ourselves, our branding, systems, the processes, the relationships and most importantly, trust.

That first year was about proving we could do things our way.

After a strong first year building the business from the ground up, we took a step back and asked ourselves an important question:

Does our brand still reflect who we are and how we work?

The honest answer was no – and that’s when We Are PROPA was born.

What Changed

As the business grew, one thing became increasingly clear: our best work was happening within the property sector.

Not just filling roles, but partnering with independently owned property companies who cared deeply about their people, their culture, and doing things the right way. The conversations were better, the relationships were stronger, and the results spoke for themselves.

The brand, however, hadn’t caught up.

Hardy Booth Recruitment no longer reflected the focus we had, the framework we worked within, or the direction we were heading.

Why PROPA?

PROPA isn’t just a name change, it’s a clearer expression of who we are and how we work.

Our mission is built around five principles:

Pursuit. Reality. Options. Pinpoint. Action.

They guide every conversation we have and every decision we make. No buzzwords, no smoke and mirrors, just straight-talking recruitment.

We also wanted the brand to reflect us as people. Recruitment is a people business, yet too often the work behind it is invisible. Clients don’t always see what they’re paying for, or the thinking, care, and effort that sits behind a successful hire.

We wanted to change that.

This rebrand marks the start of a new chapter.We’re still delivering the same results, with the same approach, and the same commitment to doing things properly. But now, everything is aligned: our focus, our message, and our mission.

We Are PROPA reflects the business we’ve become and the one we’re building, supporting independently owned property companies across Manchester and Cheshire to grow brilliant teams, the PROPA way.
